Mr. Brian Barry, a senior consultant for F. Curtis Barry & Company, has been assisting multichannel companies for over 13 years. Mr. Barry specializes in direct to customer order management, e-commerce and warehouse management applications as well as warehouse layout, design, and specification and selection of material handling equipment. Mr. Barry has a professional certification in logistics from Georgia Tech.
With regard to direct to customer order management and warehouse management systems, Mr. Barry has assisted companies in providing needs analysis, detailed system requirements, and evaluating and analyzing commercially available software packages. Mr. Barry has assisted in the installation and implementation of these packages as well as provided end user documentation, procedures and training programs for end users. Mr. Barry has a working knowledge of all major direct to customer applications and their capabilities having evaluated and assisted F. Curtis Barry & Company with critiquing them for industry trade magazines.
Working with other partners at F. Curtis Barry & Company, Mr. Barry assists companies in collecting preliminary data and reviewing day-to-day operations for use in the layout design and specification of material handling equipment. In addition, Mr. Barry has worked with other partners to provide assistance in reviewing the plans and construction of new facilities with the general contractors and the client, and assist in the final walk through and evaluation of the new building. Mr. Barry has experience in specifying and selecting many different manufacturers of racking, shelving, conveyors, lift trucks and various information systems for clients. Mr. Barry also has managed and supervised the installation of material handling equipment with vendors and clients.
